Having spent more than 35 years working in marketing and public relations, I’ve found myself hoping to have a “real” impact – with specific responsibilities and measurable results for organizations with a purpose. Although my client experience is widely diversified from tourism to retail, and corporations to endless “new business openings”, today my vision is closely tied to a life-long love of cooking, teaching and two specific areas: Education and Sharing the importance of maintaining family food traditions.

I have started a new entrepreneurial venture focused on my grand and great-grandmother’s candy making – specifically their recipe for English Walnut Almond Toffee. Among dozens of other candies I’ve made for 50 years with my mother, the toffee always comes out tops!

I have created “Colorado Sweetness” to share the toffee with others. Having owned a PR business for 20+ years I was always looking for a special gifts for my clients and customers – birthdays, holidays, special occasions, thank you gifts – or just because.

I’m just starting to get input for sizes, quantities, etc. So I hope you’ll help me! Also, - I’m hoping you’ll be begging for more as it seems most people do!
